Directions
Over medium low heat in sauce pan melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook till garlic is softened.
Add apple juice and bring to a slight simmer on medium heat. Whisk in moppin sauce and continue to let simmer stirring frequently for 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in Everglades Cactus Dust and Rub. Remove sauce from pan and store in a container in the fridge for it to cool completely.
While sauce is chilling slice your beef. Make sure to remove as much fat as possible. If your knife skills aren’t so great slice into thin slices and then flatten meat.
After sauce has completely chilled add the thin slices of beef and let it marinate for at least 12 hours.
After marinating use dehydrator to make into jerky.
Recipe Note
We strongly recommend following the directions for your dehydrator. Each one is different and takes different time depending on the heat level your machine can reach and the power of the fans. After it’s done take it on your next outdoor adventure!
