In grill safe skillet sauté diced onion and sprinkle with Everglades Cactus Dust.
Once onion is soft remove from pan and set aside.
To skillet add ground beef season with Everglades Cactus Dust.
Remove excess grease push ground beef to one side of skillet.
Preheat grill to 250 while you prep everything else.
To skillet in different groupings add the onion, cubed Velveeta, diced cheeses, green chilis, jalapenos, rotel and cream cheese.
Top with the zest from 1 lime and minced fresh cilantro.
Give another good sprinkle of Cactus Dust on the top.
Move to smoker and cook for at least 1.5 hours.
After the time, stir well and let heat for another 15-20 minutes.
Remove from grill and enjoy with your favorite chips!!
Recipe Note
If you don’t want to use a skillet on the grill a foil pan is a great option. Just cook your onion and beef ahead of time and all it all to an greased foil pan.
